The Centre
for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding
(MoU) with Panoramic Universal Limited (Formerly known as
IT Microsystems (India) Ltd.[ITMIL]) to offer its flagship course
'Diploma in Advance Computing' (DAC) in United
Arab Emirates, New Zealand and the USA.
According
to R. K. Arora, Executive Director, C-DAC, "With
this agreement, C-DAC's Advanced Computing Training
initiative is on course to achieve global presence
and recognition."

As per the MoU,
Panoramic Universal Limited will set-up and run C-DAC ATC's (Authorised
Training Centres) in New York, Auckland and Dubai. These
ATC's will provide state-of-the -art training facilities
and offer C-DAC's advanced IT courses. The ATC's will
be equipped with lecture halls, libraries, computer laboratories
and various other amenities
Diverse
courses offered by Advanced Computing Training School
(ACTS) include Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Computing
(DAC) and Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DAC). New
courses in the area of Geomatics, Enterprise System
Management (ESM) and Embedded Systems Design are specially
designed courses conducted for corporate bodies.
These
courses are offered through a network of more than 100
ACTs in India, besides C-DAC's own centers in Pune,
Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
